The Life and Times of Jim
Hi, there. I'm Jim. Welcome to my phlog!
This site was written for Las Vegas, then LouisVille. Now, it seems to be about anywhere. In these phlogs, you'll see a lot of my personal notes and pictures. I like to post my observations here to remember life and celebrate it. I'm not religious. I don't pray for good fortune. I'm ecstatically grateful for the gift of life and I think our time should be remembered and not taken for granted. I'm not a writer. I think pictures tell stories so much better than words. I love just about everything in this life, and, I guess that would have to include you. So, if you've seen me, don't be surprised if your picture is in here somewhere. Of all the critters, people are absolutely the most interesting.

 jim  Remembering an Old Friend
I've been thinking about an old high school friend of mine, a very good friend.
He passed away a few years back.
Ya know, he was so unique and I suppose his backwood's thinking made its mark in this life in some many ways.
So, for today, I'm saying "Happy birthday old friend"

To My Old Friend, Allen Harmon
May Life Be Better In The Place You Have Gone Too.

 jim  In My Imaginary World
I like to imagine a world where everyone retires at 35, unless they want to work.
Where health care and justice are not determined by wealth.
Where natural resources are not privately owned.
Where farmers are not paid to (not grow food), when part of the world is starving.
Where people are commited to having no more than two children.
Where wealth and poverty are not determined at birth.
